About the Author
Katie Marie is a children’s author who has been journaling about being a published author since she was in high school. Inspired by the birth of her son, she began jotting little ideas down until one day she came up with the full concept of T-Rex and Tuck Explore the Zoo. This was the first in a series of stories that she felt passionate to share. She graduated from Northwest Missouri State University and enjoys reminiscing about her semester studying abroad in London, England with her best friend. She currently lives in the Kansas City area with her husband, two little ones, and three dogs. She enjoys the sunshine, laughing until you cry, and finding joy in simple, everyday tasks. She hopes to continue her creative journey and, just maybe, bring a spark of an idea to one of her little readers.

Get colorful.
It begins with an idea. Maybe you think Tuck would look better with a bright pink shirt, maybe T-Rex should be blue. Take whatever artistic liberties you want. Be creative. Download a coloring sheet, then tag me on social - @authorkatiemarie.
