Celebrating ONE YEAR of the Blog!

I am beyond excited to post this week! I’m sure you aren’t keeping track, but today I am celebrating one whole year of blog posts! This may not seem like a lot, but that is 52 weeks in a row of putting my thoughts to paper and sending them out to be viewed by the public. There have been some vulnerable posts, some funny, and some sad, but I hope all have been relatable in some way! I don’t have any big announcements or insightful wisdom to give to you this week, but I do have lots of gratitude. Without you continuing to read this week after week, there wouldn’t be a blog, so I thank you. Thank you for the kind texts and emails you sent telling me you were moved by a post or thoroughly enjoyed it. It means a lot and is a big part of why I continue to write. I recently heard someone talking about a book they read and in it, it said feeling gratitude towards someone or something and not expressing it is like buying someone a birthday present and never giving it to them. So, I hope you all know how much I appreciate you taking time out of your busy days every single Friday to read my posts. It has taken courage and faith to venture out on this author/writer journey and I am feeling extremely proud of the work I have put in. There are lots of exciting things to come soon and I can’t wait to keep sharing it all with you.

If you have any topics you would like to see me touch on, please send them my way so I can make this next year of posts even better! Don’t forget the best way to support what I am doing is to share it with your friends and family that you think would enjoy it. Sharing on social media is always helpful as well.

I do hope you are entertained by the weekly posts, but above all else, I hope you realize by reading my posts that you are never too old to follow big dreams. Most of the time it is the fear of failure or the unknown that keeps us from just jumping in. Any time I feel the creep of imposter syndrome, I use positive self-talk and think to myself, why not me? I think there is enough room in this world for every one of us to take up space and succeed in doing something we love. Empowered women really do empower other women—so, whether you are in the thick of the newborn phase of motherhood or an empty nester trying to navigate your new normal, enjoy the little everyday moments and show gratitude for this life you are living intentionally.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart and cheers to one year!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and as always, happy reading.
